 Ancient Kauri ART PIECE

This Furniture Art Piece is the second design from the “New Beginnings” series designed and made by Brendon Catley in 2008. This piece has been constructed using 45,000 year old radiocarbon dated Buried Kauri timber from the Kai-Iwi Lakes.  Paua Shell inlay has been used on the inside of the drawer handles, hand-painted laser cut steel sub-frames on solid Kauri pedestals with a hand-made corrugated slump glass shelf. It bears the makers monogram and is numbered.

Colours vary on closeup shots due to bad lighting.

This art piece can be customised to suit your requirements of timber, finish, size and type of shelf etc.
