 Pohutukawa Art Piece

This Furniture Art Piece was the fourth design from the “New Beginnings” series designed and made by Brendon Catley in 2009. This piece contains three elements timber from a 600-800 year old Pohutukawa tree; laser cut hand-painted steel in the table’s subframe; paua shell inlay on the inside of the drawer handles; and hand-made slump glass shelf. It also has a carved Totara pediment depicts the Pukepoto Ridge Crest from Kaitaia, Northland.  It bears the makers monogram and is numbered.

This art piece can be customised to suit your requirements of timber, finish, size and type of shelf etc.
