The Story Behind Brendon Catley Furniture
For over 20 years, Brendon has designed and crafted bespoke furniture for clients across New Zealand. He believes furniture should be uniquely tailored to each family and built to last for generations.
Born in Te Awamutu to a father who was an antique dealer and a mother who was an interior designer, Brendon developed an appreciation for beautiful, timeless pieces from a young age. Growing up surrounded by rare furniture and antiques, he saw firsthand how certain pieces can carry history, character, and meaning. After moving to Tauranga with his family, he refined his craft and built a loyal clientele who value thoughtful design, quality materials, and furniture made to be lived with.
